What to expect at your appointment:

A comprehensive eye exam will take about one hour. During that time, Dr. Snyder will assess your visual, oculomotor and neuro-ophthalmological systems (sounds very comprehensive, doesn't it?) He will determine what, if any, glasses you may need and check the health of your eyes. Don't worry about the "air puff" test because we don't do that test.

However, we will probably want to put drops in your eyes to check the pressure in your eyes and make your pupils big so Dr. Snyder can get a good look inside (especially if you are diabetic or have a history of eye disease). Let us know if you wear contact lenses or might be interested in refractive surgery, we can answer those questions too.

Highland Family Eye Care is proud to be providers for many of the major insurance companies, including: Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medica, PreferredOne, HealthPartners, Aetna and United Health Care. If you don't see your insurance listed here please call the clinic for more information.
